Yesterday I received a delivery notice in my door to pick up a parcel today. I was home, saw the woman drop of the notice. Never rang the bell, didn’t even try to. Now I have to go and get it. Not the way service is supposed to go
Notes have been left about our driveway and ice. Delivery man had no reason to walk on ice as we left a snow cover path so he would not slip and fall. But he has no problem climbing three foot high hill to cross lawn to go to next house. Today he put or thru a parcel onto our porch not in box. He held back our mail all last week . Then delivered a large handful. Looking around our neighborhood we were all in the same boat. Snow and ice on driveways. I can only imagine how full and heavy his bag must have been on Friday. In 30 yrs we have not once had a complaint about our driveway. We are shift workers and sometimes we have no energy left at the end of our day. I thought long and hard before wrote this message and get no satisfaction in making a complaint. Please do not punish those simply because you think we are ungrateful or lazy. There are far more essential workers than some think we are all doing our best. I thank you for continuing delivery of our mail.
